We begin with the life a place should make possible. From there, we shape the architecture, interior, material language and conditions of stewardship required to bring it into being.

The work may begin with one apartment, an existing building or a place yet to be formed. What matters is that every element belongs to one complete idea.

Dawid Golden Co is a private house devoted to the recognition, formation and stewardship of places of character. Architecture, culture, capital and life are brought into relation under one coherent proposition.

The work may take the form of restoration, transformation or new creation; of architectural development or interior formation; and, when it is right for the place, of long-term stewardship.

Dawid Golden Co acquires, creates, transforms, holds and selectively presents places of distinction. Some are conceived for our own account. Others are created around the lives of selected private principals. Across development, ownership, private residences and emerging hospitality, each place is treated as a complete world.

The House establishes the proposition, determines the sequence and appoints the appropriate architects, advisers, craftspeople and specialists.

Regulated legal, tax, engineering and construction work is carried out by the appointed qualified professionals.

The House may appoint specialists, but it does not delegate the proposition, the sequence or the standard.

Visual truth

Presentation is not applied to a place after the work is complete. Photography, film, typography and narrative reveal its actual character, atmosphere and possibilities. They must never conceal, falsify or merely decorate reality.
